- Ultra WiFiProtect is now included in the NSA CSfC list
- Ultra WiFiProtect is now certified under the Common Criteria evaluation process
- Ultra WiFiProtect is now available in the DoDIN Approved Products list
February 15, 2021. Ultra’s WiFiProtect solution is now fully certified to the highest standards in the industry by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) and all relevant certification boards. These certifications indicate that WiFiProtect access points meet the requirements set forth by stringent guidelines for ultra-secure WLAN in classified and sensitive operational environments.
Most recently, WiFiProtect was granted admission to the NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified Program Components (CSfC) list, signifying that the solution was validated by an independent testing laboratory to fulfill the reference architectures and configuration information found in published Capability Packages. This certification comes on the heels of WiFiProtect’s certification under the Common Criteria evaluation process. Common Criteria evaluation ensures that a product meet National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) protection protocols.
WiFiProtect was already certified as Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 L2 compliant, as well as being included on the Department of Defense Information Network Approved Product List (DoDIN APL).
Michael Murray, President of Ultra’s Cyber division, said:
“With this latest admission to the NSA CSfC list, Ultra’s WiFiProtect solution is now widely available across U.S. government agencies at the highest security levels. WiFiProtect Access Point offers secure networking in harsh environments, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Ultra is pleased to offer this solution through CSfC and other government accepted offering lists.”
