AUSTIN, TX—November 21, 2022—After an extensive search, Ultra Intelligence & Communications’ Board of Directors has officially announced that Jon Rucker will take up the mantel of president and chief executive officer. Dan Verwiel, who has been acting as the company’s interim CEO, will return to his position as an advisor to Ultra.
Prior to joining Ultra I&C, Rucker was senior vice president of SAIC’s Army Business Unit within the Defense and Civilian Sector. Jon has also held leadership roles within CACI and Lockheed Martin.
“As the interim CEO, I’ve had the privilege of getting an in-depth view of the inner workings and growth potential of I&C and am excited for what the future holds,” said Verwiel. “Now that Jon is taking lead, I have the pleasure of returning to my advisory role with unique insights to enable me with assisting and advising in the development of our opportunities and markets moving forward.
