The Ultra COVID-19 fund donated $1,000 to support Lebanon County Christian Ministries (LCCM) local activities during the pandemic.
Lebanon County Christian Ministries (LCCM) is an active non-profit providing emergency food, clothing and shelter and other necessities such as heating oil and water bill assistance to the whole community of Lebanon County, PA.
In fiscal year 2019-2020, LCCM provided more than 354,000 pounds of food in all of its programs to those in need in Lebanon County and since March 2020, LCCM has served 75 households with emergency food orders that were directly affected financially due to job losses due to COVID-19. These households were in addition to LCCM's typical average of about 25 households seeking assistance per week.
With the resources LCCM provides and the army of volunteers (including our Ultra employees), those less fortunate can obtain necessities such as food, shelter, and clothing. Our team is sharing their time and the recipients are empowered by being reminded that they are valuable and that there is a path to better times.
LCCM is also the distribution site for the federal Emergency Food Assistance Program and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program for seniors. Both programs provide supplemental groceries for those in need.
